Plano Balloon Festival
An action packed weekend of skydivers, hot air balloons, concerts, a huge kid’s fun zone, merchandise vendors, corporate exhibitors and a variety of foods…young and old have much in common when they are enjoying the colorful balloons that will fill the skies over Plano. Come make memories for your family
Remax Ballunar - Houston area
This unique weekend of fun takes place at The NASA/Johnson Space Center. Visit this exciting and educational family-oriented event and enjoy hot air balloon competitions, evening balloon glows, skydiving exhibitions, commercial exhibits, concession booths, food from local restaurants, arts & crafts exhibits, entertainment and various aviation equipment displays.
Albuquerque Internationl Balloon Fiesta
From a small gathering of 13 balloons in 1972, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has grown to become the largest balloon event in the world. Held each year during the first week in October, the Balloon Fiesta attracts hundreds of thousands of guests to Balloon Fiesta Park to experience a nine-day extravaganza of color and excitement, celebrating the world's oldest aviation sport, ballooning.
The Great Mississippi River Balloon Race is Mississippi's most exciting hot air balloon race weekend! Two balloon flights take place each day, weather permitting. Pilots compete as they fly over the cities of Natchez, Vidalia, and the mighty Mississippi River
The Sky's The Limit Balloon Spectacular is held in beautiful Gainesville, Texas at the Gainesville Municipal Airport. Our event features traditional ballooning events including mass ascensions, balloon competitions, and glows. In addition there are plenty of festival activities to enjoy including concerts, food and merchandise vendors, a kids area, and other activities throughout the day. We have something for the whole family to enjoy. This event serves as a fundraiser for the North Texas Medical Center Foundation and benefits the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, Texas.
Van Zandt County Balloon Fest, set for all day Saturday, May 19 at Tailwind Airpark, 60 miles east of Dallas near Canton.
Twenty to 25 hot air balloons are expected to attend the event, which will feature airplane rides and tethered hot air balloon rides. The highlight of the event will be the balloon glow at dusk on Saturday night.
